this cento is an intralingual translation of the poem TTA 13: sound translation stemming from bpNichol’s Translating Translating Apollinaire (a translation experiment in which bpNichol translates his own translation of Guillaume Apollinaire's Zone in numerous fun and funky ways).

i have shaped this cento by translating each and every word of TTA 13: sound translation with its definitions in the English dictionary (inspired by bpNichol's TTA 19). the ]translation/cento[ consists of the first 49 words of the poem and appears in chronological order (the closing phrase being definition 18a of the word "PRICK").
